75 on it, and numbers dangling down 76-77-78-79-80
Hello,
My ticket seller Kip has been with the ballroom (this Nov. 11, 2010) 79 years.
We always have a celebration for the ballroom & her birthday.
At 75 years she matched the world's record for continually working at the same place.
At 76 yrs. we thought she'd break the record but some one else had a record for 79 yrs. (summited after the 75 record)
This year 2010 she'll match it again.
Hopefully next year at 80 yrs. she'll break it.
But in the meantime we'll celebrate her matching it again.
Coloma (Kip) Shannon is 102 years old. Has a very good chance of making the 80 yrs. continually working at the same place. (She'll be 103 then.)
She is still working for me selling tickets & making change.
So this is what the brooch is for.
I'm real excited that you can do this. I have been looking for
5 years & no one could even come close.
